Years in the making, the new and improved Torquay Hotel will expand the venue’s hugely successful live music scene and reimagine hospitality on the Surf Coast. A new freestanding building, strategically positioned off a side street with its own distinct identity, creates an expansive beer garden for year-round outdoor dining and live entertainment. Capable of hosting big crowds, it includes a built-in stage for gigs, three bars, modern restrooms, and a wood-fired pizza kitchen which vows to set a vibrant experience. Crafted from precast concrete, natural stone, and steel, the sculptural roof canopy creates a distinct environment alongside a verdant landscape that endows a luscious layer.
The two-stage project is currently under construction. Stage 1 opens December 2025, with Stage 2 set for completion by mid-2026.
