Proud Mary in Maryborough draws on its storied history to create a modern home through the renovation of a red-brick homestead inspired by the Maryborough train station. A pavilion-style addition with a pitched roof echoes the station's ornate ceilings, linking past and present. Designed for family living, the space features an open kitchen, dining, living room, study, and laundry that connect to the garden. A colonnade-like walkway gracefully joins the new pavilion to the original homestead, respecting its historic integrity. This project celebrates Goldfields’ heritage while reflecting the family’s passion for enriching their community’s legacy.
