11Q is a transformative Melbourne project that repurposes an under-utilised 11-storey building into a vibrant, sustainable hub. The ground floor features a fusion Japanese restaurant, café, and modern amenities, including end-of-trip facilities and meeting rooms. Outdoor dining and landscaped gardens create an inviting atmosphere. The design emphasises rigorous, detail-driven gestures, blending traditional Japanese influences—such as intricate screening and clean lines—with contemporary elements. A striking façade of blackened bronze-coloured zinc cladding enhances the aesthetic, while natural stone, origami-like folded metal, concrete, and textured timbers in unity establish an elegant and robust urban environment.
